Original Spare Parts For Transmission, Engine And Chassis

Schaeffler’s range of automotive aftermarket products are based on a comprehensive system approach and are available for all Asian and European vehicles makes and models.

With innovation, technical expertise, and the highest standards in original equipment quality, the company offers spare parts and complete repair solutions for clutches and release systems, transmission, engine and chassis applications under iconic brands –
LuK, INA and FAG.

Transmission

Schaeffler, with its LuK portfolio includes components for repair of all types of power transfer systems – for continuously variable, double clutch, automatic and manual gearboxes. Its products cover the core areas of clutch systems, vibration damping, clutch release systems and transmissions. Schaeffler has extensive OEM experience in these product categories and is a development partner to all major automotive manufactures.

In 1985, under the LuK brand, Schaeffler introduced its groundbreaking invention the dual mass flywheel (DMF) that reliably dampens torque vibrations in the transmission and ensures high levels of shifting and driving comfort, while also reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Over 115 million LuK DMFs have been produced since this invention was introduced, and today every second new vehicle that is produced is equipped with a DMF.

While manual transmissions are being less frequently installed in new vehicles, double-clutch technology is gaining market share. Schaeffler has supplied OEMs with dry double clutches since 2008 and wet double clutches since 2014, this experience is applied to solutions for the aftermarket.

With its LuK RepSet 2CT, Schaeffler is the market leader for double clutch repair solutions, covering 85 percent of the vehicle market for dry double clutches worldwide. The high quality of the parts and their perfect precision fit and use of the LuK special tool ensures that repairs can me made quickly and professionally.

With the LuK GearBOX repair solution, Schaeffler offers a complete solution that simplifies the repair of manual and double clutch transmissions as well as differentials. The LuK GearBOX contains all replacement parts and the required mounting material, along with step-by-step instructions, making it possible for workshops to conduct transmission repairs themselves.

Engine

The Schaeffler portfolio under the INA brand helps meet the demands for modern engines to use less fuel, be more powerful and operate smoothly – all of which increase the stress on engine components. INA offers intelligent, cross-system repair solutions for the four key systems of the engine – for the timing drive (for both belt and chain driven vehicles), the front end auxiliary drive (FEAD), the valve train, and cooling system. The portfolio offers a wide range of individual products and complete system repair kit solutions.

Schaeffler is one of the largest OE parts manufactures for chain-drive systems with over 100 years of experience and works in 18 R&D centres around the world to further develop its products. Schaeffler offers a comprehensive portfolio of repair solutions for chain drives in OEM quality. The INA Timing Chain Kit is vehicle specific and comes with the timing chain, timing chain sprockets, hydraulic and mechanical chain tensioners, tensioning rails and guide rails as well as the gaskets and mounting parts. Schaeffler also offers comprehensive INA Timing Belt kits.

The INA FEAD Kit is designed to reduce vibrations and improve driving comfort. Kits are vehicle specific and come with all components in OE quality including V-belt, tension and deflection pulleys, and all necessary accessory parts, also a belt position diagram to assist with easy fitment. Schaeffler recommends the replacement of all system components when making repairs to the FEAD to ensure reliable results for this crucial vehicle operation and safety system.

With over 800 components and repair solutions for the valve train, the INA portfolio includes camshafts, bucket tappets, hydraulic camshaft timers, and control valves. The fastest-growing products include electric and hydraulic camshaft timers for chain and belt driven systems, which enable dynamic camshaft control – helping to reduce both fuel consumption and emissions.

Innovative systems for on-demand engine cooling systems, include the INA Thermal Management Module (TMM), invented by Schaeffler. The TMM uses sensor controlled rotary vanes to precisely adjust the temperature balance in the powertrain – enabling savings of up to four percent in both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. In addition, Schaeffler offers an industry-leading portfolio of mechanical, switchable, and electric water pumps.

Chassis

With its heritage brand FAG, Schaeffler is a proven chassis specialist offering high-quality components for suspension, steering, damping and bearings.

Schaeffler offers everything for the easy replacement of wheel bearings including high-precision and reliable wheel bearings and complex bearing modules – from the FAG WheelSet, to the FAG WheelPro for replacing the wheel bearings at both ends of a single axle, to wheel-bearing repair solutions for light commercial vehicles and pre-assembled wheel bearing units for heavy commercial vehicles, like the FAG Repair Insert Unit (RIU) and FAG SmartSET.

Schaeffler has also recently expanded the FAG product range to include steering and suspension parts, drive shafts and strut mountings for chassis repairs. The range includes control arms, tie rods, stabilisers, supporting and guide joints, and axial joint kits. The high-quality range features market-leading coatings and sealing technologies, ensuring durability of the products.
