For Maserati, this was their debut appearance at the event, and they marked the occasion with the showcase of the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello, a bespoke electric luxury cabriolet.

“GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello is the best way to set out the brand’s luxury image and epitomises the bespoke production of the Maserati Fuoriserie customisation personalisation programme,” Maserati Chief Marketing & Communication Officer Giovanni Perosino said.

The car, having already made waves at the Arts for All Gala in Napa Valley, California, caught the eye of enthusiasts in Chantilly, where Maserati hosted a special wine-tasting event with experts from Marchesi Antinori and offered test drives of its latest models.

Suave additions

While Maserati made a splash with its bespoke electric car, Alfa Romeo took centre stage with a lineup that paid homage to its storied past and promising future. Among the highlights was the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, a modern reimagining of the legendary 1967 model.

Described as an “authentic work of art in motion,” the new 33 Stradale combines beauty and technology to deliver an unparalleled driving experience. Alfa Romeo’s Bottega, a newly founded workshop where designers collaborate directly with buyers, played a key role in the creation of the new model, ensuring each car is uniquely tailored to its owner’s desires.

The Alfa Romeo display also included the 1971 33 Spider Cuneo, a rare prototype with futuristic lines that once graced international motor shows, and the brand-new Alfa Romeo Junior, which debuted in hybrid and electric versions. These cars captivated visitors, revealing the connection between Alfa Romeo’s mechanical heritage and its cutting-edge innovations.

Whether through Maserati’s bespoke luxury electric vehicles or Alfa Romeo’s bold reimagining of iconic models, the brands demonstrated their commitment to innovation and craftsmanship while staying true to their Italian heritage.
