EV-Hybrid™ range grows

Bendix has introduced additional front and rear EV-Hybrid™ pads for selected electric and plug-in hybrid models, including the BYD Atto 3, BYD Dolphin, BYD Seal and BYD Sealion 6. New EV-Hybrid™ options are also available for the electric GWM Ora.

Designed locally at Bendix’s Ballarat R&D facility, EV-Hybrid™ pads are engineered to meet the specific demands of electric and hybrid braking systems. They utilise a copper-free organic friction material and are certified to the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) ‘N’ rating, containing less than 0.5 per cent copper by weight.

4WD/SUV™ and HD™ target growing off-road

Bendix has expanded coverage for GWM’s GWM Tank 300 and GWM Tank 500, with new front and rear options available in both the HD™ and 4WD/SUV™ ranges.

Additional 4WD/SUV™ pad variants now support the Haval H6 and LDV D90, while expanded HD™ offerings cover the LDV Deliver 9, including dual-wheel variants.

Formulated specifically for 4WDs and SUVs operating both on- and off-road, 4WD/SUV™ pads are engineered for low noise and dust output, along with reduced brake fade at higher temperatures. They also feature Bendix’s Titanium Stripe technology for immediate pedal feel and predictable braking performance.

HD™ pads are suited to vehicles operating under high loads and frequent start-stop conditions, such as delivery applications. Engineered for durability in high-temperature environments, they are designed to last up to twice as long as standard all-purpose pads and incorporate Bendix’s Blue Titanium Stripe technology.

General CT™ coverage extended

The General CT™ range has also grown, with new front pad options for the BYD Seal and Sealion 6, additional front and rear pads for the Haval Jolion and Haval H6, plus new variants for the Chery Omoda 5 and Chery Tiggo 7.

General CT™ Brake Pads use proven friction compounds to deliver consistent stopping performance and smooth pedal feel. Features include noise- and vibration-absorbing shims for enhanced comfort, alongside Blue Titanium Stripe technology.

As Chinese vehicles continue to expand their footprint in Australia, Bendix’s growing pad coverage ensures workshops and owners have a comprehensive aftermarket braking solution across electric, hybrid, SUV and commercial applications.
