Feeney has been ‘Mr Sunday’ in the last three events, winning each race on those days.

“The heat’s (going to be) a tough one, for us Queenslanders it’s starting to get a bit cool,” the Carrara-raised driver said.
“We’re looking to get up north … these cars are going to be real interesting. We complained about the heat at the start of the year, but we’ve forgotten about it for a while.”

This will be the inaugural Supercars event at Hidden Valley Raceway, coinciding the the competition’s Indigenous Round.
All 26 drivers and their cars will be sporting unique liveries to mark the occasion.

“It’s great for us in the middle of the year to head somewhere nice and warm,” Feeney said.
“We all talk about it as one of our coolest events because everyone gets around it so much.
“The whole team’s looking forward to getting up there, and hopefully we have the results that go with it.”

The weekend’s three races (13,14,15) will get started on Friday and continue through the weekend.
