Description
Last year of the rear wheel drive Eldorados with only 2250 produced for 1966. Being the luxury convertible of the Fleetwood range of the Cadillac Division it was fitted with many exclusive features unavailable in entry level models. Features such as a full leather interior, everything is leather except the top of the dashboard.
I am the second owner of over twenty years and have gone to great expense to return the car to it's present excellent condition.the engine and transmission have had all seals and gaskets replaced, the braking system has been gone through and had the master and wheel cylinders re-sleeved in stainless steel. The body has been refinished in its original colour by an expert bodyman who confirmed to me that there is no rust and has never been any as the car has spent its life in the state of Texas. The leather seat facings were replaced with factory correct leather and the genuine timber door capping was refinished to bring the interior back to perfect. A new roof with the standard glass rear window as well as a new hydraulic actuator mechanism.
The car is fitted with all the usual options that come in a premium Cadillac.
The car looks and drives like a new car and cannot be replaced by importing from the US because increased prices there.
