Description
1930 Model A Tudor. Location Christchurch. NZ.
$33,000 NZD - to drive away.
Notes from the owner:
New set of tyres.
New water pump.
Gearbox excellent.
Motor excellent.
Motor run every 2 weeks to keep operational.
Extremely well cared for. Always garaged.
Flys through for wof.
WOF and Reg.
Painted its original colour - Thorn brown.
Work undertaken.
Starter motor came loose and broke the bellhousing. Good bellhousing installed. Motor repainted. Starter motor was overhauled.
It could do with a brake adjustment.
What I would call Turnkey.
Very original and fitted with an original 2-tooth Gemmer steering box which it would have had from new. Also fitted with an oil filter. Most likely assembled in the Timaru assembly plant in 1930.
Also fitted with a running board fuel can, side lights, a side-mounted spare, a quail mascot radiator cap, and kick plates.
The previous owner undertook a restoration in around 1965.
Notes from Rushmore.
I knew the car when I was 17. The car is still in excellent condition and I doubt if a better example exists. It is completely original with no modifications, (apart from an added oil filter) It does have patina after those years, but this is to be expected. The car is always well maintained and lovingly cared for and is the best example of a 1930 Tudor I have seen in around 20 years. It currently could do with a polish. For added safety blinkers have been fitted.
This vehicle is being marketed by Rushmore Motors on behalf of the owner.
