Description
Completely original unrestored survivor.
It is actually a 1962 1/2 model.
I bought this car from Steve Muller who bought it from a deceased estate. Essentially a one owner car.
When I first got the car Matt Berry went through the mechanicals and I drove it to Action Day and Bad buggers meet at Bribie Island. Since then it's been in the shed.
Any original parts that could not be repaired have been kept.
Apart from the 'patina' the only rust of note is in the bottom of the engine lid.
When I got it the paint in the front wheel well was damage by a leaking brake fluid resevoir. Max, Matt Berry's body guy cleaned it all up and it's been sealed to prevent rust.
This car ha never been in a accident and is 100% original paint.
Interior is amazing. Only a few splits in the original 'stringy' head lining below the rear window.
It is the original engine. Matt's words at the time is that the mechanicals are alittle 'tired' but perfectly fine for club duties.
I feel this car is too good to restore, it just needs to be cleaned and polished. Something which after all this time I've just never found the time or space to do.
Hence I'm offering it for sale.
