The partnership between Mattel, AirConsole, and BMW Group has adapted UNO into a connected, in-car gaming experience. Stationary drivers can link their personal devices to the car via AirConsole’s game controller system, allowing up to four players to join in. The simple, universal gameplay of UNO, which transcends languages and cultures, is now accessible in a new environment: the car. For safety, gameplay is only enabled when the vehicle is in park.
Since 2022, BMW Group and AirConsole have been at the forefront of in-car gaming, offering innovative gameplay through the AirConsole platform. The platform’s game library has expanded, featuring titles like “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” This game was introduced as an in-car world premiere in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television, BMW Group, and AirConsole.
In Australia, AirConsole is available in BMW vehicles equipped with Operating System 8.5 and an embedded personal eSIM, though it is not supported in the BMW 2 Series Coupé, 3 Series, or 4 Series.
