The 2026 Melbourne Motor Show will host a dedicated Fast & Furious 25th anniversary experience, following the announcement of a partnership with Universal Studios.
Running from 10–12 April 2026 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, the event will feature an immersive fan activation celebrating the long-running film franchise and its connection to car culture.

Universal Studios confirmed the official partnership will form part of the franchise’s global 25th anniversary celebrations.

“The Fast & Furious franchise will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026 with an official partnership at the Melbourne Motor Show, recognising the film series’ global cultural impact and its evolution into a multi-billion-dollar cinematic phenomenon,” Universal Studios said.
“The partnership will feature a dedicated fan immersive experience at the Motor Show, celebrating the franchise’s most iconic on-screen moments and its enduring themes of family, loyalty and spectacle.”
Mel Green, Senior Marketing Manager at Universal Products & Experiences, said the activation aims to connect with long-time fans.
“Fast & Furious has always been about more than action – it’s about family, identity and a shared global culture,” Green said.
“Bringing the 25th anniversary to the Melbourne Motor Show allows us to celebrate the films in an immersive way while connecting with the passionate Australian fanbase that has grown with the franchise over the past 25 years.”
Celebrating a global franchise
Since debuting in 2001, Fast & Furious has grown into one of the most recognisable and commercially successful film franchises in modern cinema, expanding across multiple sequels and spin-offs.
The Melbourne activation will focus on recreating iconic on-screen moments and showcasing the themes that have underpinned the series over the past quarter-century.
FastPass access available
To coincide with the announcement, FastPass tickets are now available. FastPass holders will receive priority access to the event and a limited-edition Fast & Furious x Melbourne Motor Show T-shirt.
