Ford Australia is set to reintroduce the Everest Wildtrak and Ranger Wildtrak X to the lineup in 2025, marking a special comeback after its successful debut in 2023.
“Following last year’s sales and the sell-out success of Everest Wildtrak in 2023, it made perfect sense to bring the badge back to Australia,” Everest Product & Retail Marketing Manager George Thomas said.

With only 950 units of the MY25.25 edition available, this rugged SUV comes at a Manufacturer List Price (MLP) of $76,950 (including GST)1. The Everest Wildtrak’s reintroduction is backed by a year of record sales, during which it emerged as Australia’s favorite large SUV and sixth most popular vehicle overall for 2024.
The Wildtrak name has a rich history with the Ranger brand, known for its blend of practicality and luxury. Thomas noted, “For the past 16 years, Wildtrak has been synonymous with the Ranger brand, and once again we are offering customers in Australia the opportunity to enjoy the same legendary reputation as the ute, but in a practical and luxurious SUV bodystyle.”
Wild times
Engineered in Australia for Australian conditions, the Everest Wildtrak inherits the renowned Wildtrak DNA, ensuring it is built for adventure. It features a robust 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel engine delivering an impressive 184kW of power and 600Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and full-time all-wheel drive (AWD).
A towing capacity of 3,500kg2 makes it a versatile touring vehicle, especially with the optional Premium Towing Pack, which adds features like a Tow Bar, Integrated Trailer Brake Controller, and Blind Spot Monitoring Trailer Coverage for an MLP of $2,900 (including GST).
Scheduled for first deliveries in Q1 2025, the MY25.25 Everest Wildtrak offers numerous highlights, including:

Ranger ready
In tandem, the Ford Ranger Wildtrak X is also making a limited-time return, following its successful MY23.5 Special Edition. Known for its striking appearance and innovative Flexible Rack System, the Wildtrak X promises to elevate the driving experience for SUV enthusiasts in Australia.
