The Ford Ranger Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) and the fully electric E-Transit Custom will make their first public appearance in Australia this week.
The Ranger was Australia’s highest selling vehicle in 2023 – and it’s hybrid counterpart will debut at the Mobility Live event at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 30-31.

This free event offers government representatives and fleet operators an up-close look at the latest in electric commercial vehicles, showcasing Ford’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.
The Ford Ranger plug-in hybrid will debut in its limited-edition Stormtrak variant, featuring the new, exclusive Chill Grey exterior.
“It’s really important that fleets wanting to decarbonise have access to vehicles that allow them to continue doing their work without the need to compromise,” Ford Australia General Manager of Electric Vehicle Myles Hartley said.
“Both the Ranger PHEV and E-Transit Custom have all the capability that makes their nameplates legendary around the world, with the added benefit of an electrified powertrain.”
Both the Ranger PHEV and E-Transit Custom are scheduled to go on sale in Australia in 2025. Following Mobility Live, the vehicles will also be on display at the Sydney International EV Show, running from November 8-10.
