Fresh ute comes to market with new GWM Cannon

Another ute is getting dropped in the Australian market, with GWM (Great Wall Motor) launching the new GWM Cannon, set for February 2025.

This announcement comes on the heels of a remarkable 2024, during which GWM achieved record sales exceeding 42,000 units. The introduction of the latest Cannon underscores the company’s commitment to sustaining its momentum in a fiercely competitive market. This new iteration of the Cannon is not just a vehicle; it represents GWM’s dedication to meeting the diverse needs of Australian consumers.

GWM’s global teams have implemented a series of enhancements to elevate the driving experience. Among the standout features is the upgraded 2.4-litre turbo diesel engine, delivering an impressive 135kW and 480Nm of torque, paired with a refined 9-speed transmission.
