Matt Stone Racing driver Jack Le Brocq made history for his team on Sunday, winning its first ever Supercars race.
Le Brocq won Race 15 at the Darwin Triple Crown, breaking a 172-race winless drought for the team.
“I’m lost for words,” Le Brocq told supercars.com.
“It’s pretty unreal, the guys have done an awesome job, especially the last few hours, it was pretty beaten up in that second race today.
“I feel like it’s been a long time coming. We’ve had good speed this year, and it’s great to convert to solid race pace as well.”

Le Brocq started pole for the first time in his career leading into the race, and held true to deliver team owner Matt Stone a special victory.
“It’s just fantastic,” Stone said.
“I can’t thank the team and JLB enough for bringing it home. Pole position and led every lap that we could and brought it home. Couldn’t be happier.
“This is what we wanted to do; we said it was coming, we knew we could do it — we said we were going to get on the front row, we did it, and now we won the race.
“Can’t celebrate soon enough.”
Red Bull Ampol driver Broc Feeney won Race 14 earlier that day, to claim his fourth Sunday win in a row.
“TO get pole position, get a good start and lead the race – that finish was awesome,” the 20-year-old said.
“Shane [van Gisbergen] had great pace at the end of the race, I just had to old him off.
“[I’m] stoked for the team.”
Earlier in the event, Mark Winterbottom won Race 13 to mark his first in the Top End since 2014.
The Supercars Championship Series will continue in Townsville in early July.
