MG has announced three variants of its MGU9 ute, which is coming to Australia and New Zealand.
Announced in July, MG has thrown its hat into the heated Aussie ute ring with the MGU9.
“With the MGU9 range – Explore, Explore X and Explore Pro – we’ve created a vehicle lineup that combines comfort, capability, and innovation in equal measure,” MG Motor Business Director Kevin Gannon said.
“Each variant has been designed to deliver a versatile driving experience, whether it’s for daily commercial use, family weekends, or tackling adventures off the beaten track.
“From refined ride comfort and advanced safety features, to smart design touches that make life easier, the MGU9 proves that Australians no longer have to choose between practicality and innovation when looking for their next ute.”
Here’s the three variants:
- MGU9 Explore: The base model that still packs a punch with robust strength, advanced technology, and premium comfort.
- MGU9 Explore X: This mid-level trim likely builds on the Explore’s features with additional upgrades for enhanced style and functionality.
- MGU9 Explore Pro: The top-of-the-line variant that offers premium features like the innovative MG Smart Hatch, an electronic foldable rear access panel that increases the ute’s capacity and versatility.
Pricing for the MGU9 range is expected to be between $55,000-$65,000 AUD.
