“[the] All-New Triton has delivered on its promise: It is the best Triton we have ever offered,” Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd CEO Shaun Westcott said.
“We have also taken on feedback from customers, media, and most importantly the dealer network.
“The result is an enhanced model range and improved specification that we have been able to rapidly bring to market. The GLX-R has always represented great value for money and this latest iteration has high visual appeal and true all-round capability.”
The 24.5MY Tritons will be available at dealerships starting in October 2024.
All-New Triton GLX-R
The new Triton GLX-R is based on the GLX range and is available as a Dual Cab Utility with a six-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 drivetrain. It features Mitsubishi’s Super Select II 4WD system with Drive Mode Terrain Control, enhancing its off-road capabilities. The standard duty suspension layout, which includes a high-mounted upper wishbone layout and 36mm shock absorber cylinders, offers improved control. Meanwhile, the rear suspension’s high tensile steel leaves ensure a comfortable ride both loaded and unloaded.
The GLX-R also introduces a unique visual identity, featuring:
Black 18-inch alloy wheels with highway terrain tyres
Black sports bar
Leather steering wheel
Fully carpeted floor
Exterior door body mouldings
