The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV stays true to its Japanese product concept of “I-Fu-Do-Do” (authentic and majestic) while enhancing sophistication and electrification features.

Mitsubishi Motors’ flagship model showcases the brand’s latest innovations in electrification and all-wheel control technologies. Known for its robust exterior, twin-motor 4WD, and Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC), the Outlander PHEV is celebrated for its smooth, powerful performance and user-friendly three-row, seven-seater configuration.

Plug-and-play

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander update builds on these strengths, introducing a renewed battery that extends the EV range to over 80km (WLTP mode)* and boosts maximum output by 20 per cent. This delivers more powerful acceleration, making it an even more exhilarating drive.

In addition to performance upgrades, the Outlander PHEV now features an optimized S-AWC system, updated suspension, and new tires for a more refined, stable ride.

The interior sees improvements as well, including a 12.3-inch navigation display, better connectivity features, and a seat ventilation function for added comfort. Another exciting new feature is an audio system developed in collaboration with Yamaha Corporation, providing an enhanced audio experience.

First introduced in 2013 as the world’s first plug-in hybrid 4WD SUV, the Outlander PHEV has sold over 370,000 units worldwide across two generations.

The model continues to offer a versatile driving experience making it the world’s best-selling plug-in hybrid 4WD SUV today.
