Monroe MTV technology keeps it ahead.
One of the world’s leading ride performance product manufacturers, Tenneco, parent company of the world’s top selling Monroe brand of replacement shock absorbers, is pleased to announce the supply of the company’s Multi-Tuned Valve (MTV) shock absorbers for both the newly released Suzuki Swift Sport, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire vehicle range and the reigning European Car of the Year, the Peugeot 3008 SUV.
The latest generation Swift, which made its debut in September at one of the world’s largest car shows, IAA 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany, features front struts and rear shock absorbers designed and manufactured by Tenneco. This continues the global company’s strong association with Suzuki that spans more than a decade.
Tenneco is also supplying Monroe high performance passive suspension dampers featuring the company’s exclusive MTV technology on Ford’s latest Fiesta models; Trend, Titanium, Vignale, ST-Line, and Active.
The 2017 European Car of the Year, the Peugeot 3008 SUV also owes its responsive handling and superb ride comfort to Tenneco’s MTV technology, which is the result of decades of Monroe shock absorber engineering and innovation.
This clamp-disc, full-displacement valve system is engineered to provide precise handling and driving comfort across a variety of driving environments. Offering extensive tuning options, excellent noise reduction and long-lasting durability compared with conventional designs, Tenneco’s MTV valve technology is a leading choice for a wide range of performance vehicle applications.
Covering both mono-tube and double-tube shock absorbers, Tenneco’s MTV ride performance technology can be applied all the way from compact sports vehicles to premium class prestige performance vehicles.
Tenneco produces the MTV suspension technology for the Dzire model at the company’s Bawal plant in India, and at Tenneco’s Gliwice and Hodkovice plants in Europe for the Swift Sport, Ford Fiesta models and the Peugeot 3008 SUV.
“We are delighted to support the 2017 European Car of the Year and to continue Tenneco’s long tradition of developing and supplying innovative ride control products that enhance vehicle performance and help deliver a superior driving experience,” said Martin Hendricks, Executive Vice President and President, Ride Performance, Tenneco.
“Tenneco’s MTV valve technology has been precision engineered to offer our customers greater flexibility when it comes to tuning vehicle ride characteristics for the best possible balance of performance and comfort,” he added.
