Mazda is enhancing its all-hybrid CX-60 SUV with a significant array of updates set to launch in May for the 2025 model year.
This evolution features a wealth of new equipment, technical revisions, and offers an impressive value proposition. Two new model grades are being introduced: the entry-level Pure, starting at $50,240 MLP, and the Touring model, positioned between Evolve and GT, priced from $58,240 MLP.

A notable introductory pricing offer of $53,990 driveaway* will be available for CX-60 G40e Pure models at launch. Reflecting the style and versatility of the CX-60, both models can be equipped with any of the three all-hybrid powertrains: the G40e inline-six turbocharged petrol 48V MHEV, the D50e inline-six turbocharged diesel 48V MHEV, or the P50e 2.5-litre plug-in hybrid.

These efficient engines remain unchanged, offering impressive fuel efficiency figures – 5.0L/100 km for the diesel, 7.4L/100 km for the petrol, and 2.1L/100 km for the PHEV, along with a commendable 76 km of electric-only driving range. Mazda’s philosophy of Jinba Ittai is further refined with enhancements to comfort and stability through adjustments to the rear suspension, including softer springs and firmer shock absorber settings, allied with recalibrated stability systems for improved handling.
The 2025 model also sees updates to the Skyactiv-Drive eight-speed automatic transmission, featuring enhanced clutch control for smoother transitions between combustion engine and electric motor, as well as a wider gear range, all aimed at achieving the best balance between driving pleasure and environmental efficiency.
Bells and whistles
Additionally, several technological and safety improvements have been made across the CX-60 range. Key features now standard on Evolve, Touring, and GT grades include Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), Cruising and Traffic Support (CTS), and a 360° View Monitor with See-Through View.
The Evolve and Touring models also gain Driver Monitoring technology, previously exclusive to GT and Azami grades, and the CX-60 GT now includes Adaptive LED headlights. The vibrant 12.3-inch full-colour widescreen information display is standard on the G40e and D50e Evolve models, as well as the new Touring variant. While the classic KODO design remains unchanged, a new striking paint option, Zircon Sand metallic, has been added, expanding the color palette to eight options, including three of Mazda’s premium Takuminuri finishes.
