Honda Australia has announced the arrival of the refreshed HR-V to the Australian market, with an additional Hybrid grade now available.
This new model introduces Honda’s advanced e:HEV two-motor hybrid powertrain, delivering an ideal balance of fuel efficiency and dynamic performance, while also expanding hybrid options for consumers.

The new HR-V features advanced active safety technologies, including the enhanced Honda SENSING suite, which offers occupants additional support and an improved driving experience. New to the HR-V are Traffic Jam Assist and Adaptive Driving Beam, available exclusively on the e:HEV grades. Additionally, key safety features within the Honda SENSING suite have been upgraded in this model, including:
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
- Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow
- Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)

Honda Australia Vice President Carolyn McMahon emphasised the sophistication and intelligence of the refreshed HR-V.
“Building on the HR-V’s existing strengths, this newly refreshed model represents a sophisticated and intelligent small SUV, with premium quality, advanced in-car technology including improved Honda SENSING and Honda Connect as standard,” she said.
The new HR-V range includes three grade options: the petrol Vi X, the new e:HEV X, and the higher-grade e:HEV L. With the introduction of the e:HEV X grade at a lower price point, McMahon expressed confidence that it will attract a broader audience.
Enhancing the ownership experience, the HR-V now comes with the Honda Connect mobile application and server platform, offering a variety of connected services for convenience, safety, and peace of mind. Each purchase includes a complimentary 5-year subscription to Honda Connect.
All new Honda vehicles also come standard with the Honda Road Ahead Guarantee, which provides a five-year Unlimited KM Warranty, five low-price services at $199 per service, and five-year Premium Roadside Assist.
