The Triton GSR Special Edition incorporates a more rugged look without compromising on the impressive features of the GSR model.
“As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we constantly take feedback from our dealer partners and customers,” Mitsubishi Motor Australia Limited’s General Manager of Product Strategy Bruce Hampel said.
“Through this, we saw an opportunity to enhance customer choice for the Triton GSR, with a more rugged appearance. The GSR Special Edition combines the GSR’s impressive specification with a distinctively-themed exterior package that further broadens its appeal.”
Among the significant updates, this edition showcases a Graphite Grey grille embossed with Mitsubishi lettering, applicable to all available body colours.
The typical sailplane has been replaced with a black sports bar, and the removal of the fender flares emphasises the selected body colour while allowing for further customisation with Mitsubishi Genuine Accessories.
Additionally, the GSR Special Edition benefits from an upgraded Adaptive Cruise Control system, which now stays active until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.
This new feature is standard on all automatic Triton models manufactured from November 2024 onwards. Despite these enhancements, the Triton GSR Special Edition maintains the extensive standard equipment found in its predecessor.
The colour options remain unchanged, with Black Mica and Graphite Grey available at no extra cost, while Yamabuki Orange and White Diamond can be selected for an additional $200.
The recommended retail price for the ongoing Triton GSR Dual Cab Utility is $63,840, while the new Triton GSR Special Edition Dual Cab Utility comes in at $63,140.
