Cars may be getting more flexible, but physically bouncing a car might be taking it to a whole new level.
That’s what Nissan has done as part of the TV campaign for a new 2024 model, where the Nissan Qashqai broke the world record for the highest bungee jump with a car.

The Nissan Qashqai dropped from 65 metres high in Paris in front of the jury of the Guinness World Records, who announced the jump as a new world record.
Marketing Director of Nissan France Jérôme Biguet says challenges like this are the thrill they love exploring at Nissan.
“In its various TV spots, the Qashqai has tried skateboarding, surfing, paintball… each time thrilling activities,” he says.
Previously, the Qashqai has been advertised utilising skateboarding, surfing, paintballing, and the new campaign sees it jumping across buildings.
“The idea of a bungee jump to symbolise the personality of the new Qashqai quickly came to mind,” Biguet says.
Nissan says their ability to innovate and dare, emphasises their brand motto: Defy Ordinary!
