Nissan X-TRAIL N-Trek touches down in Australia

The Nissan X-TRAIL N-Trek has officially arrived at Australian dealerships, featuring enhanced styling and innovative materials.

The N-Trek joins the X-TRAIL family, offering a vehicle equally suited to city streets and off-the-beaten-path exploration.

Rugged styling

The N-Trek introduces a striking design upgrade, starting with a bold new dark finish on the signature Nissan “V-motion grille,” replacing the chrome found on other X-TRAIL models. The sleek black theme extends to the door mirrors, handles, and roof rails, while the unique 18-inch alloy wheels feature a sophisticated black-and-silver design.

Further enhancing its rugged appeal, the lower side of the bumper is now finished in gunmetal, complemented by a redesigned front lower bumper. The blacked-out door mirrors, handles, and roof rails add to the aggressive look, while new LED fog lamps have been seamlessly integrated into the lower section of the front bumper.

Innovative materials

Inside, the N-Trek is equipped with new synthetic leather upholstery featuring water-resistant qualities, giving drivers the confidence to venture further and get dirtier, knowing the interior will stay clean and dry with ease.

In addition to its durable interior, the cabin technology has received a significant upgrade. The N-Trek now features the flagship X-TRAIL’s 12.3-inch infotainment screen, 12.3-inch TFT digital dash, and a 10.8-inch heads-up display, delivering a cutting-edge driving experience.

“Nissan X-TRAIL remains a standout in its class two decades on and has become a vital nameplate for Nissan, with over 7.7 million units sold worldwide,” Nissan Australia Marketing Director Sriram Padmanabhan said.
“Australia ranks among the top markets globally, with over 308,000 units sold since launch. Sales have surged by 73 per cent in 2024 compared to the same period last year.
“We know Australian drivers expect their X-TRAIL to serve dual purposes—a stylish, practical vehicle for the workweek and an adventure-ready SUV for weekend explorations. The new X-TRAIL N-Trek delivers on both fronts.”
