The Polestar 4 has made history as the first electric car to be crowned Drive Luxury Car of the Year under $100,000.
Drive.com.au judges praised the Polestar 4 for its ability to “redefine what a luxury car can be.” Polestar Australia Managing Director Scott Maynard said “Polestar 4 blends luxury, sustainability, and performance to create an experience that will make even the most conservative luxury buyers take notice.”

The Polestar 4 is hailed for its innovative exterior design, spacious interior using sustainable materials, and performance chassis fine-tuned by race engineers in Sweden. Its arrival brings a fresh, exciting option to one of Australia’s most competitive luxury segments.
Luxury EVs
Offered in two versions in Australia — Long Range Single Motor (with up to 620 km of range) and Long Range Dual Motor (up to 580 km of range) — the Polestar 4 starts at $78,500*. It is available for test drives at Polestar Spaces across the country.

In 2024, Polestar expanded its range with the introduction of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 electric SUVs, joining the Polestar 2 on Australian roads. The Polestar 2, a performance fastback, is available in three variants with Standard and Long range powertrains, starting at $62,400*.
Meanwhile, the Polestar 3 is a large luxury electric SUV, available in two Long Range Dual Motor variants, with a Long Range Single Motor version set to join the lineup in 2025, offering over 700 km of range on the WLTP test cycle.
