Schaeffler Australia Launches New Online Portal REPXPERT – a Powerful Tool for Garage Professionals

With its online portal, Schaeffler is launching a new dimension of service for garages professionals in Australia.

Whether it is product updates or installation guides, with just a few clicks garage professionals can find everything they need for their daily work. In addition, the updated portal displays the entire four brand product portfolio – from LuK, INA, FAG and Ruville.

Following the launch in Germany in 2015, the service portal is being progressively launched to other European countries, UK and the US during 2016.

Under the heading ‘Work, Learn, Inform’, REPXPERT is clearly structured according to these three main elements and has a fresh new design. Its intuitive navigation menu coupled with intelligent search processes and links, directs users to the information they require in a fast and targeted way. A central feature of REPXPERT is the online catalogue linked with Schaeffler’s entire automotive aftermarket product portfolio, with all products of the LuK, INA, FAG and Ruville brands.

Besides a product search function using OE reference numbers the portal also provides descriptions of the products, outlines product benefits, product updates, product-based vehicle-specific and non-verbal installation guides plus important information about failure diagnosis. Directly linked to every product, and therefore found quickly, are all relevant information media items such as brochures and videos.

Integrated into the REPXPERT online portal is the Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket training program for garages, distribution partners, technical support organizations, TAFE colleges and vocational training centres. Here interested parties will find valuable information such as how-to videos, training content and organisational details.

Within the portal there are a surprisingly large number of other features. These include the dual mass flywheel (DMF) App which displays in just a few seconds, the torque and rated-values tables for free-play angle and rock for every LuK dual mass flywheel, in fact simply everything a garage professional needs at a glance.
