Schaeffler bringing the goods to AAAE 2024

The motion technology company Schaeffler will be showcasing its portfolio of future-oriented repair solutions for combustion engines, hybrid and electric vehicles at Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo in Melbourne between April 13-14.

This year, Schaeffler will give visitors the ability to come face to face with some of the technologies they can expect to see coming through their workshops within the next few years. The company is presenting many new products from its LuK, INA and FAG brands at their stand and are also taking a close look at how they can further con-tribute to garage businesses through their REPXPERT platform which will also be represented on the stand. With its repair kit for e-axles, the “Schaeffler E-Axle RepSystem – G” and many other displays, Schaeffler is keeping their focus on where the industry is heading.

“Schaeffler is well prepared for the increasing repair needs of hybrid and electric vehicles and has always brought new technologies and expertise from original equipment into the independent aftermarket. Staying true to this approach is particularly evident this year” explains Warren Barnett, Head of Automotive Aftermarket Australia. “With our smart repair solutions and digital service offerings through REPXPERT, we help garages meet the growing challenges of e-mobility and digitalisation. At the same time, we ensure that they are still able to repair traditional combustion engines in an efficient way. This will enable garages to continue providing full service to their customers.”

Market-Centric: Solutions for todays and tomorrow’s repairs

This year, Schaeffler’s stand (J18), is structured around Future-Readiness with focus being placed on the needs of customers including repair solutions that garages require today and in the near future.

Schaeffler will also be presenting new technologies emerging from vehicle development. Visitors can take a look at the 800-volt 3-in-1 E-axle, the latest INA Mild Hybrid Engine and Engine System, the latest LuK Transmission System and FAG Chassis System. All these technologies will be relevant for garages in the future – and Schaeffler will provide the independent aftermarket with appropriate repair solutions in time. For example, the “Schaeffler E-Axle RepSystem – G” – this is currently the only repair solution that allows garages to repair E-axles instead of completely replacing them. The aftermarket team will be on hand to explain how this technology translates into reality.

Customer-Oriented: Schaeffler creates added value

In addition to repair solutions, support is the focus topic at the stand – especially the service brand REPXPERT, which will have its own feature area. REPXPERT bundles all service offerings in the aftermarket and provides support for independent garages digitally and quickly, but not without personal contact. The online portal currently has more than 200,000 users worldwide. REPXPERT provides the best possible support – from catalogue data to parts identification and e-learning to live or remote support.

In addition, visitors can also experience changing an Overrunning Alternator Pulley (OAP) using special tooling and explore the REPXPERT portal and its many features. Visitors can also check out Schaeffler ‘s OneCode: The QR code can be found on the LuK, INA and FAG packaging and expands the company’s digital service offering with a particularly easy-to-use solution. In just a few seconds, garages can access information on the respective part number, check the authenticity of the product and collect REPXPERT bonus points. They simply scan the OneCode with their smartphone or tablet or enter it manually in the REPXPERT app or the online portal.

Future-Ready: Tomorrow’s sustainable mobility

Schaeffler is dedicating a big part of its presence at the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo to the topics of future mobility and sustainability as these are currently two of the biggest topics facing our industry. And finally, Schaeffler will use an interactive application to inform about the Group’s and market division’s sustainability activities.
