For over a decade, workshops have relied on Burson Auto Parts EzyParts platform for simple and efficient parts sourcing.
Much like the automotive industry itself, however, EzyParts continues to evolve to ensure it delivers the fastest service to its customers – hardworking Aussie mechanics.
What is EzyParts?
“EzyParts is the one-stop ordering platform,” said Sales and Projects General Manager Frank Petruccelli.
Available on desktop and mobile to customers with Burson trading accounts, EzyParts is a fast way for mechanics to find the parts they need delivered to their doorstep.
“When you input a rego, EzyParts not only shows you the products you need to order for a vehicle, but also the suggested parts aligned with that vehicle make,” Frank added.
For workshops doing something a bit left of centre, EzyParts can show stock available at both nearby Burson stores and the local distribution centre.
“That way, it gives you endless opportunities – not only do you have access to the 30,000+ SKUs available in a store, you also have access to the 200,000+ SKUs in a distribution centre,” said Frank.
“Depending on where you’re located, the parts could be with you within an hour, or by next day.”
Having grown up in his parents’ spare parts business, Head of Digital Operations and Network Support Tim Tummons knows how valuable every minute is when it comes to making repairs.

EzyParts instils confidence in mechanics by ensuring they can have the right parts delivered to them anywhere at any time, and subsequently have their customers vehicle back to them at the agreed timeframe.
“It’s better than taking a punt by guessing ‘I think I can get this part today, so I think you’ll get your car back tomorrow’,” Tim said.
This efficiency not only removes the guesswork from the process, but ultimately drives profitability for workshops by reducing servicing turnaround times.
Staying ahead
EzyParts remains ahead of the pack when it comes to advancements in customer experience, with its latest integration of HaynesPro.
HaynesPro has historically been the go-to repair book for mechanics to draw upon, and now it’s taken its wealth of automotive knowledge to the digital space.
With the current skill shortage in the industry, many workshops are handling uncommon repairs and may need the assistance HaynesPro offers.
“What we’re trying to do by integrating HaynesPro into EzyParts is to get an advanced aid for the trade,” Tim added.
Currently in the industry, many mechanics will go to Google or YouTube and try to research DIY solutions.
“That was how a lot of the United Kingdom was operating about 10 years ago,’ explained Tim.
“Now they’ve adopted platforms like HaynesPro because they want to make sure they’re working on repairs correctly and not putting themselves or the customer’s car at risk.”
This addition has given EzyParts, and by extension Burson’s customers, a chance to get ahead.
Evolving with EzyParts
Burson is always looking to evolve EzyParts. In addition to HaynesPro, there are plenty of upgrades in the works.
“We’re looking at adding more product-rich information in EzyParts,” Tim said.
“We’re working on a feature that’ll help customers see what inventory Burson can get its hands on – whether an item is in or out of stock, the system will show if we can still get the product to the customer.”
As EzyParts develops in complexity, registering an account will always be a straightforward process.
Once a workshop has a Burson Auto Parts trading account, a user can go to the Burson website to apply for an EzyParts account.
“The turnaround time is under two hours,” Tim stated.
“Your EzyParts account will be opened up and linked to your Burson account, so features such as live account pricing and rego search will come flying through.”
“Within a matter of hours and a quick form, you’re off and running.”
No matter the issue, EzyParts is the one-stop solution for mechanics to get what they need, when they need it.
As more upgrades are made, EzyParts will only get faster. Now is the perfect time for workshops to seize the advantage. Visit here to apply for an EzyParts account.
